Subsea lifting operation

Throwback to one of our favourite subsea lift operations. In 2016 Thrust Maritime Pty. Ltd. managed the recovery of a 28t multiphase pump from an oil field north of Exmouth. The lift involved a handshake from the existing vessel crane to our largest rental A-Frame, utilising a work class ROV.

The novel handshake to the A-frame arrangement allowed operations to be completed in higher sea states, ultimately reducing vessel on-hire time and cost. The project was highly successful and was completed ahead of schedule and budget.
